Natural Brass, Arte Metal and Artisan Copper is not plated or treated with chemicals.  All Vintaj® products are made in the USA and are 100% nickel and lead free.  Natural Brass is 85% copper and 15% zinc and Arte Metal is a ferrite-based alloy.  

Vintaj® recommends using a metal screw-down hole punch when punching the Arte Metal blanks.  This is due to the harder nature of the metal.  You may use either of the metal punches we sell on the Natural Brass blanks or Copper blanks as this is a softer metal.

Both Natural Brass, Arte Metal and Artisan Copper lends itself to coloring and aging using Ranger Ink® Products.  Check our Idea Gallery for sample jewelry using inking and riveting techniques.
